Pillars Of Ablution

In Islam, wudhu (ablution) is an essential act of purification before performing prayers. There are six main pillars that must be observed for wudhu to be valid. The first is making an intention (niyyah) in the heart to perform wudhu sincerely for the sake of Allah. The second is washing the face, covering the area from the forehead to the chin and from one ear to the other. The third is washing both arms up to the elbows, ensuring that no part is left dry. The fourth is wiping the head, which can be done by passing wet hands over part of the hair or scalp. The fifth is washing the feet up to the ankles, including the spaces between the toes. Finally, the sixth is maintaining the correct order (tartib), performing each step in the proper sequence. These pillars form the foundation of a valid wudhu, preparing a Muslim to stand before Allah in prayer with purity and humility.
